Project background

The Brenton project was developed and are operated by SWEB Development within the context of the “Community feed-in tariff program”. The project was part of the third phase of projects that were developed in Nova Scotia, which was completed at the end of 2016.

The facility is located southeast of the city of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Brenton’s clearing and site civil works were completed by the landowner, who works in the forest industry.

This 1.99-megawatt project consists of one turbine.
