Project background
The Nine Mile River project was developed and are operated by SWEB Development within the context of the “Community feed-in tariff program”. Project planning commenced in 2012, and project development work lasted for about two years.
The facility is located in the centre of mainland Nova Scotia, near the community of Nine Mile River in the Municipal District of East Hants.
This 4-megawatt project consists of two turbines.
