Project background
The Walton project was developed and are operated by SWEB Development within the context of the “Community feed-in tariff program”. The project was part of the third phase of projects that were developed in Nova Scotia, which was completed near the end of 2016.
The project is located in East Hants, Nova Scotia, along the beautiful Minas Basin. Walton was the first V110 wind turbine built in Nova Scotia. The project is also W.E.B’s only project built on Crown Land.
This 1.99-megawatt project consists of one turbine.
